Who we are
At Elim Spring Care Foundation, we are concerned about creating an environment for homeless children to thrive with a special focus on eliminating extreme poverty, enhancing children’s survival, and guiding them in the way they should go. We care about the less privileged, the abandoned, the neglected, and abused children living within the ghetto areas of Nigeria. We believe stretching out a hand of support to these children is our father’s business.
Our Mission
Our mission is providing vital resources and tools needed to achieve a better life. We aim at transforming lives and building a brighter future for the indigent children through access to free education, economic opportunities and community empowerments.
Our Vision
Our vision is empowering marginalized children thrive and achieve their full potential and creating a society where every child, regardless of their background, race, colour or gender have access to equal opportunities for growth, academic achievement and skills acquisition through humanitarian aid.
Our Approach!
- Establishment of schools in the rural communities.
- Provision of appropriate clothings.
- Teaching cultural and civic values so they can fully harness their culture.
- Regular sanitation around their homes.
- Fight against physical, emotional, verbal and social abuse.
- Establishment of small-scale businesses for parents.
- Identify talents and skills (such as music, art, poetry, writing, public speaking, knitting and weaving), and engage children in workshops that would enhance these talent.
- Active fellowship with God.
- Support children and families with foodstuffs.
- Regular excursions to historical sites in Nigeria.
- Frequent medical checkups.
- Organize celebrations for children such as birthdays, Christmas, Easter and so on.
